A magna cum laude Elon College graduate with a UConn Law J.D., Jeff left a successful legal career to build OSC using advanced analytics, proprietary models, and one of the industry’s deepest databases. With a background in play-by-play work and sports information while in college, Bruce joined TGS in 1981 when hired by the legendary Mort Olshan. He learned the business by working alongside Mort and the other TGS handicappers and continues at TGS, where he has worn many hats over the years. Ricky bets on NFL, NCAAF, NBA, NCAAB, NHL, MLB, Soccer, and CFL and makes a living attacking opening lines and is almost always on the right side of line movement. Youthful, enthusiastic, technically savvy, and up to date with the latest tools of the trade; but he's not shy to trust his gut on any given bet and ignore the stats.
