The PLAY: Reed Sheppard Points Over 13.5 (-113)
The Rockets are on a roll winning three-straight by double digits as they welcome a lowly Bucks team into Houston on Wednesday night. Reed Sheppard specifically has been up and down as of late, but he’s shown enough to us that we trust him going over 14.5 points tonight. He has averaged 15 points per game in March so far and in the first head-to-head meeting way back on November 9th Sheppard had 16 points on 6-10 shooting and 4-6 from three-point range. The Bucks have allowed the eighth most points per game to shooting guards per game, but what’s more important is that they’ve allowed the second most three-point makes to the position per game. Reed has shot 42% from three-point range in home games this season and his 8.6 three-point attempts per game in March are the most of any single month this season. He just scored 20 points on 8-12 shooting in last night’s 111-94 win over the Rockets so let’s take Sheppard to be a scoring threat off the bench once again for the Rockets going over 14.5 points at home against a Bucks team that can’t wait for the season to end.
