The PLAY: New York Mets -1.5 (135) Action
It’s been risky business to a) back the Mets and b) dare even consider the Run Line with New York. Yet after an especially abysmal stretch, Steve Cohen and his GM David Stearns seem like they are giving manager Carlos Mendoza a bit more time to forge a turnaround. Perhaps last night’s 8-0 romp past the Nats at Citi Field, with Juan Soto and Bo Bichette going deep, and Clay Holmes working a sparkling 6 IP, will light the fuse.
Besides, Washington presents a proper go-against option, especially as the Nets have lost all five April outings by Wednesday starter Cade Cavalli. Play Mets on Run Line
