The PLAY: Total Under 55.5 (-110)
This total is generously high. TCU's offense will be without its star QB and one of its best receivers. Facing a USC team which allowed just 10 points in its final game, scoring is going to be tough. The Horned Frogs' defense will need to step up. Both teams have allowed 23 or fewer points in four of their last five games. Two of the last three Alamo Bowls have finished with 50 or fewer points. This one should stay below the 55 mark.

When the NHL returned from its Christmas Break last year, there were eight games played on 12/27. Six of those eight games went over the total. The games averaged 7.4 goals and none finished with less than five. With both teams hungry to get back on track with a victory, I feel this one should finish with at least six. Minnesota averages three goals, while Winnipeg averages 2.91. Admittedly, the Wild are a stingy team but the Jets are allowing more than three gpg. Prior to its 2-game skid, Minnesota had scored five goals in three straight games. Go with the over 5.5
