The weekend is behind us, time to look ahead to a new week. I'll start this week with a best bet in the MLB. I've zeroed in on a matchup in Houston as the Twins visit the Astros. Both teams are trying to get back into the thick of things in the AL Playoff picture. Jump on board with me. Thanks to yesterday's win, I've hit on four of my last five MLB plays. Remember, stay safe and bet wisely!

| MLB | (971) New York Mets at (972) Toronto Blue Jays: Moneyline | 7:07pm EDT - Jun 29/2026 |
The PLAY: Toronto Blue Jays -118 Action
The Mets and Blue Jays kick off a three-game interleague series in Toronto on Monday. Both teams were expected to contend in their respective divisions this season but, thus far, that hasn't been the case. I like the Jays on Monday with righty Trey Yesavage on the bump. He is 2-2 at home this season and has allowed just four runs in his last two starts. Mets' starter Sean Manaea has struggled to get deep into games since returning and has a 5.70 ERA in June.
Take the Jays with the money line.

| WNBA | (619) New York Liberty at (620) Golden State Valkyries: Spread | 7:00pm EDT - Jun 28/2026 |
The PLAY: New York Liberty -1.5 (102)
I'm going with the Liberty in this battle of teams that enjoy shooting from the perimeter. While New York is sixth in scoring and a solid 5th in the league in shooting, Golden State is just 11th in scoring and last in the league in shooting. So, can the Valkyries attack the glass to make up for it? Not likely against a Liberty team that is fifth in the league in rebounding. Finally, the Liberty will have clear sailing shooting from outside, against a Valkyries team that is ranked 14th in 3pt defense. Long live Liberty!
Take New York -1.5
