The PLAY: Chicago White Sox 117 Action
The surprising Chisox can’t win ‘em all but still took another series on the weekend (vs. the Royals) and remain in first place in the AL Central, even if just by percentage points, ahead of Cleveland into Monday night.
This looks a good price on the Pale Hose at Camden Yards and starter Sean Burke has been mostly effective in recent weeks, especially his last two starts (both wins, vs. the Yankees and Guardians). Meanwhile, the Birds remain untrustworthy, losing 9 of their last 14, and Monday starter Shane Baz is off of a rough outing vs. the Angels, allowing 5 runs and 8 hits in 5 IP of last Tuesday’s loss at Anaheim.
