| NHL | (63) Winnipeg Jets at (64) St. Louis Blues: Total | 8:07pm EDT - Apr 9/2026 |
The PLAY: Total Under 5.5 (-106)
With effective playoff elimination risk on both sides tonight, this battle in St Louis has all the earmarks of a taut 2-1 or 3-2 scoreline.
Connor Hellebuyck has certainly been up to the task lately in goal for the Jets as he makes an eighth straight start for Winnipeg this evening. He hasn’t allowed more than three goals in any of his last seven starts and has been solid thus far in April, with a 2.03 GAA and .902 saves in three starts as the Jets have made a last-ditch move toward the edge of the West playoff field.
Meanwhile the Blues have been getting very solid work in goal in their 12-3-3 run since the start of March, much of that Joel Hofer. Tonight, however, Jim Montgomery likely goes with his other solid option, Jordan Binnington, who posted a 1.62 GAA and .921 saves in five March starts before a heroic effort last Wednesday in LA, taking a 1-1 score into OT before the Kings prevailed. We go "under" 5.5 goals and found a -106 as the best price on offer in the overnights, and we'd stick on this pick as long as the price doesn't move past -115. Play Jets-Blues “Under”
