| GBL | (202421) Bayern Munich at (202422) Wolfsburg: 3-Way Moneyline | 12:30pm EDT - May 9/2026 |
The PLAY: Bayern Munich -170
Situationally, this is NOT a great spot to bet Bayern Munich. They just got eliminated from the Champions League midweek and have already clinched their 13th Bundesliga title in the last 14 seasons. So there is a legit question about their motivation heading into Saturday's fixture at Wolfsburg.
But the price on the 3-way line is borderline outrageous considering Bayern are facing a relegation-threatened opponent. No way this should be below -200. Just way too cheap not to take a shot, especially considering Vincent Kompany's side are now winless in three straight matches. Previously, they had not gone two in a row all season without a win.
Yes, Wolfsburg will be desperate for a point Saturday. But that's been priced into this number. The Wolves' hopes of avoiding automatic relegation will almost certainly hinge on next week's fixture at St. Pauli. They do need to be concerned about goal difference here. But even a rotated Bayern squad should be able to get the win. Bayern have won 26 of 32 league matches this season (only one loss) with a +81 goal differential. That includes an 8-1 win (at home) over Wolfsburg back in January!

| MLB | (977) New York Yankees at (978) Milwaukee Brewers: Moneyline | 7:40pm EDT - May 8/2026 |
The PLAY: Milwaukee Brewers 110 Max Fried (LHP), Jacob Misiorowski (RHP) Must Start
The National League is 18 games over .500 in Interleague play this season with only three teams posting losing records vs. their American League counterparts. Furthermore, the Brewers were off yesterday and thus have a rest edge heading into Friday's series opener against the Yankees.
Now, I realize it is a bit "scary" to fade the Yankees in this price range, given they've won 16 of their last 19 games and Max Fried is starting tonight. But Milwaukee, also a Top 5 team in my power ratings, has Jacob Misiorowski on the mound. Not only is Misiorowski averaging 14 K's per nine innings (#1 in MLB) but opponents are batting just .172 off him for the season.
This will be the Yankees first time ever facing Misiorowski. It's a lineup that averages two fewer runs per game on the road. In terms of wRC+, the Yanks fall from 1st (140) at home to 11th (99) on the road. The Brewers' runs per game average at home (5.67) is third highest in baseball. Their lineup is now as healthy as it's been all season. Give me the Brew Crew, as underdogs, at home.
