Both Troy and West Virginia both had easy times of it last week in the Super Regional. Troy sweep Little Rock, and West Virginia swept Cal Poly 29-3 in the two games they played. There is a huge discrepancy in pitching in this match up. West Virginia had the best ERA in the Big 12 this year at 3.82, while Troy had an ERA of 5.64. The Mountaineers have two dominate starters in both Chansen Cole ( 10-1 2.85 ERA ) and Maxx Yell ( 9-2 2.10 ERA ) Either one will be a tough task for Troy. The Trojans will probably counter with Ben Stubbs who is their best starter with a 4.62 ERA. Troy is an alarming 305th out of 308 teams in hits allowed this year, and 216th in walks.
