The PLAY: Jordan +1.5 (-135)
A couple of longshots from the Asian Confederation (Qatar and Australia) already delivered two of the shock results of the first cycle of group play, as AFC sides are in fact unbeaten in six matches into Tuesday. World Cup debutante Jordan, with manager Graham Arnold, who took Australia to the KO phase at Qatar 2022, cites organization, discipline, and livewire Rennes winger Mousa Al-Taamari as bankable assets.
Ralf Rangnick’s Austria caught the eye at Euro 2024 playing on the front foot, but we prefer Das Team more in an underdog role. This is also the first game for vet campaigners like David Alaba and Marcel Sabitzer on the World Cup stage...Austria hasn't been here since 1998! (Draft Kings offers this Spread wager) Play Jordan on Spread (at Foxboro)
