| WCUP | (225353) Haiti at (225354) Brazil: Spread | 8:30pm EDT - Jun 19/2026 |
The PLAY: Brazil -2.5 (-108)
Off a rather frustrating draw in their opening match and needing to boost their goal difference, the Brazilians are substantial favorites. Playing Brazil just to win is far too expensive. However, asking them to "cover the goal spread," is reasonable. Morocco was a tough round opening match. The Moroccans are the top rated team in Africa are a legitimately strong team. Haiti, which lost to Scotland, is a big step down in class. Looking to silence the critics and build their goal difference, look for Brazil to keep its foot on the gas the entire way. They'll expose Haiti's suspect defense early and often, en route to a win by three or more goals.

| WCUP | (225337) Qatar at (225338) Canada: 1H Total | 6:00pm EDT - Jun 18/2026 |
The PLAY: 1H Total Over 1.0 (-142)
Both these teams earned their first ever World Cup points in their opening match. Canada fell behind Bosnia but battled back for a 1-1 draw. Qatar also fell behind 1-0 to Switzerland. Like Canada, they managed to come back for a 1-1 draw. For Qatar, it was a very happy result. They were heavy underdogs against the Swiss and were outplayed for large portions of the match. Canada had hoped for more. With Switzerland to follow, the Canadians need to win Thursday's game in Vancouver. It would (will?) be their first ever win at a World Cup. Though I absolutely like the Canadians' chances of a victory, the price is steep. I feel that there's more value in the first half finishing with more than a goal. Both teams conceded a first half goal in their first match and both are hungry for their first win. Play over 1 (first half) *good up to -150

| MLB | (967) Baltimore Orioles at (968) Seattle Mariners: Moneyline | 9:40pm EDT - Jun 17/2026 |
The PLAY: Seattle Mariners -142 Action
The Mariners took yesterday's series opener, handing the Orioles a third straight loss. The M's should have the advantage again today. Seattle roughed up Bradish (7 hits, 3 walks, 5 runs in only 4 innings) less than a week ago. That was at Baltimore, where Bradish typically pitches much better. Now, he's on the road where he's 1-4 with a 6.18 ERA and a terrible 2.17 WHIP. Though Kirby took a loss at Baltimore last week, he still delivered a quality (3 runs, 6 innings) effort. He struck out 10 in that game. While Bradish has been better in the day, Kirby has been stronger under the lights. With this being an evening game, at Seattle, let's go with the Mariners.
