There should be no shortage of runs in this Blue Jays vs. Red Sox matchup Wednesday evening. The over is on an 11-5 run in Toronto games, while going 4-1 in Boston's last five outings.
Boston comes into this divisional clash ranked eighth in wOBA (.362) over the last seven days, while Toronto is 12th (.345) in the category. Add in that we have two underwhelming starters going in Max Scherzer (10.23 ERA) and Jake Bennett (5.28 ERA), and I have to think at least one of these offenses go nuclear. It could be the Red Sox, as their current roster is slashing .302/.339/.491 against Scherzer across a 53-at-bat sample size. Let's take the over at Fenway on Wednesday.

This bet doesn't check all of the boxes for me, which is why I'm making it a free play. But if you're looking to throw a few bucks on a midday sweat, I think taking the under against this inflated total in the Marlins vs. Phillies game is worth a look. For starters, these teams have been very profitable to the under recently. Miami is on a 9-3 run to the under in its last 12 games, while Philadelphia is on a 13-7 run to the under in its last 20 outings.
Neither offense has been lighting it up recently. Over the last seven days, the Marlins are 23rd in wOBA (.303) and 23rd in ISO (.135), while the Phillies are 21st (.311) and 18th (.179), respectively. Sandy Alcantara (4.25 ERA) hasn't been elite this season, but he's still a guy who can show up on a random Wednesday and give you 6.0 or 7.0 strong. Against a total nearing 10 runs, the under is certainly worth a look.
