The PLAY: Brazil -2.5 (-121)
“In Carlo We Trust.” Ancelotti, that is, who now has had a game at the World Cup to better gauge personnel, and, a Carlo specialty, adjust tactics as needed for his Brazil side that should be ready to shift into overdrive before the KO stage commences.
Curious to see if and how Ancelotti might tweak the lineup tonight; there were weak spots in the starting 11 in the draw vs. Morocco, most notably at midfield, and more notably veteran Casemiro, who was very anonymous before being pulled at halftime. Ancelotti, however, certainly knows how to squeeze the most out of Vinicius from their Real Madrid days, and Vini scored one of the goals of the tourney to get Brazil level last Saturday. Haiti’s aggression might prove a temporary nuisance, but it’s easy to envision this limited CONCACAF rep losing touch. Play Brazil on Spread -2.5 goals (at Foxborough)
