| MLB | (951) Philadelphia Phillies at (952) Washington Nationals: Bryce Harper Runs | 6:45pm EDT - Jun 23/2026 |
The PLAY: Bryce Harper Runs Over 0.5 (-117) Action
The Phillies' lineup (namely Kyle Schwarber) has a knack for heating up in the summer, and Bryce Harper appears to be on one of those runs at the moment. Over his last three games, Harper is 9-for-13 including a cycle against the Mets over the weekend. In the month of June, Harper is hitting .297 with a .413 on-base percentage. He should enjoy another favorable matchup on Tuesday as Nationals' starter Zack Littell has struggled to find his footing in Washington. Littell enters the day in the bottom-10th percentile among pitchers in expected ERA, expected batting average allowed, average exit velocity, whiff rate, strikeout rate, barrel rate and hard-hit rate. In his last start against the Royals, Littell allowed four home runs in 5.0 innings. In his previous start against the Mariners, Littell allowed five runs on four hits with a walk and no strikeouts in 1.2 innings. We certainly wouldn't talk anyone out of backing Harper in the total bases or hits + runs + RBI markets, but we're going to keep this one simple and just back Harper to score a run, which is available at -117 at DraftKings on Tuesday morning. Harper has scored a total of 17 runs in his last 19 games played. He has one of the highest walk rates in the league this season, and with the heater that he is currently on, the Nationals may simply elect to pitch around him tonight. Brandon Marsh is hitting .311 this season and hit a home run last night. He may get a bump in the batting order tonight to offer some protection behind Harper. The Nationals bullpen has allowed the most home runs of any relief unit in baseball this season, so even if Littell does have a strong start, there will be opportunities for Harper in the second half of this game.
