| MLB | (911) Los Angeles Dodgers at (912) San Diego Padres: Shohei Ohtani Hits + Runs + RBIs | 4:10pm EDT - Jun 28/2026 |
The PLAY: Shohei Ohtani Hits + Runs + RBIs Over 1.5 (-135) Home Listed Pitcher Must Start
Shohei Ohtani Hits + Runs + RBIs Over 1.5 (-135) Home Listed Pitcher Must Start:
I'm surprised that we are getting a 1.5 HRR line in this matchup despite the juice as Ohtani usually has a 2.5 line. Ohtani has covered this line in 5/L6 games and 61% of his games on the season. He's also cleared this number in 5/L6 head-to-head matchups with the San Diego Padres with 4+ HRR in four of those games including yesterday's game where Ohtani went 2-5 with two runs scored. Now Ohtani gets another opportunity to feast on Michael King who he's gone 8-19 (.421) against with 3 home runs and 2 doubles. King has some great numbers with a 3.33 ERA after tossing 7 scoreless innings against the Atlanta Braves but he's due for some regression as his xERA sits at 4.69. The Padres are known for their elite bullpen, but they haven't been as sharp recently with a 4.15 SIERA during the past few weeks. The wind is blowing out to right field at 9-10 mph for the majority of the game and that could help a left-handed slugger like Ohtani.

Consultant Bio
Steve Seagrave has had a passion for breaking down and analyzing sports for decades and he has consistently picked winners while focusing on steady growth and never chasing losses. He specializes in player and team props in the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, CFB, and CBB but he is not afraid to utilize a side or total when necessary. Seagrave owned and operated multiple sports-themed pizzerias for over a decade so he knows what it takes to thrive in what can be a brutal industry. In 2020, Seagrave successfully sold the business to chase his dream of becoming a professional sports handicapper. Since then, he has assisted in several profitable seasons with his mentor Andy Lang, written articles for WagerTalk News & the Goldsheet, and co-hosted “Road to Millions”.
Seagrave has been involved in sports and sports gambling for his entire life. As a proud New Englander, he has been an avid fan of all the local teams and was a dedicated fantasy sports player long before it was cool. Seagrave learned the gambling ropes under a bookmaking mentor but eventually decided to go into business for himself by making his own picks. Once player and team props became widely available in sportsbooks, it was a natural fit based on his fantasy sports knowledge and experience.
Since going pro, Seagrave hit the ground running with a profitable MLB season where he picked 56% winners. He has also cashed 66% of his NFL Max Play tickets and 80% of his College Football plays. Seagrave also has a great track record with future plays, going 18-8 (69%) in the NFL, MLB, and NBA during the past two seasons. He has also always had a passion for writing and has contributed countless articles for WagerTalk News and the Goldsheet. This past year, Seagrave was also an integral part in launching Andy Lang's “Road to Millions”, a sports gambling show that focuses on strict bankroll management.
Seagrave utilizes extensive statistical analysis, trends, and game script to track down the winners and he prides himself on honesty and transparency. You can count on well-researched plays with detailed write-ups for selections in the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, CFB, CBB, and more. Seagrave is thrilled to be part of the Sports Memo team and looks forward to bringing you winners on a consistent basis.
