After a PERFECT 7-0 run, Bryan Power has "given some back" the last two days. But he's still 80-53 (60%) in ALL sports dating back to mid-April! This includes a 15-8 (65%) record since June 19th!
Tonight presents a UNIQUE opportunity to cash in with a player prop. BP does NOT typically play this market, but it was TOO GOOD to ignore here. Jump on board for as little as $15!

The PLAY: Spain Win To Nil (-110)
Spain is a big favorite not just to advance, but to win in "normal time" against Austria in Thursday's Round of 32 matchup at Inglewood, CA. That makes sense. La Roja were the pre-tournament favorite to win the World Cup. For Austria, this will be the first appearance in a WC knockout stage since 1954. So betting on Spain here will require a little bit of "creativity" (in terms of getting the price down). I think the best market to bet is Spain win to nil, which means they will need to win and not give up any goals in doing so.
La Roja's defensive record would certainly lead a reasonable person to believe that a clean sheet is a distinct possibility here. Not only did they not concede a single goal in the three group stage matches, but they are #1 in expected goals allowed (0.54) and faced the fewest number of shots as well. Incredibly, Spain has yet to face a single shot on goal in the first half of any match in this tournament!
Now Austria did score six goals in their three group stage matches. But all of them came against Jordan and Algeria. When Das Team stepped up in class to face Argentina, they were beaten 2-0 and finished the match having created only 0.53 xG with just one shot on target. Spain figures to dominate possession in this match. Their 69.4% possession rate is currently #1 in the tournament. Dominating possession should result in a goal or two. The defensive numbers "are what they are." Spain win to nil is how I'd play this.
