The PLAY: Under +13 (-110) Tyler Mahle (RHP), Tanner Gordon (RHP) Must Start
I understand it is difficult to go Under at Coors Field especially in a pitching matchup of Tyler Mahle versus Tanner Gordon, who has a 6.69 ERA.
But I find this total too high.
The Giants are 25th in scoring averaging four runs per game. They have not scored more than six runs in a game during their last 14 games.
Gordon is averaging 8.7 strikeouts and 1.8 walks per nine innings.
Mahle has a 5.67 ERA, but has looked good in his last two starts allowing a combined four earned runs in 10 innings.
