The PLAY: Oakland Athletics -120 Eury Perez (RHP), Gage Jump (LHP) Must Start
This free play today was close to being an actual release as a % play to my monthly and yearly customers, as well as any individual purchases. The couple of concerns I had were 1) Miami has been on fire and they have now won 22 out of their last 30 games. I really like this Gage Jump who is starting for Oakland today. He is quietly putting up some very good numbers. in 7 game started he has a 3-2 record with a 2.93 ERA. However he did not fair well in his last start against the Dodgers. He was touched up for 5 runs and 11 hits in 4.2 innings of work. So to my second point, Gage is a rookie and I would like to see how he bounces back off his toughest outing of the season. I think he will, but he is also going up a pitcher in Eury Perez who is in good form with a 3-2 mark and 2.84 ERA in his last 5 starts. All things considered Oakland is my free play on Sunday.
